Walk Into An IEP Meeting Like A Boss Class

Do you attend IEP meetings for your child and feel overwhelmed ? Are you tired of feeling lost and frustrated when you go to IEP meetings?

This class helps you attend IEP meetings with confidence so that you can advocate for the best education your child deserves, without having the experience of letting your child down.

Feature 1

When I attended my first IEP meeting I felt like I had conquered a big win for my son since I was able to advocate to get him tested and qualified for an Individual Education Plan (IEP). In my mind the biggest hurdle was won. This meeting was going to help my son who was in the 2nd grade but was not able to read beyond a Pre-k reading level. As the meeting proceeded the IEP team brushed off most of my suggestions and with each denial I started to doubt myself and eventually signed the IEP document because the IEP team were made up of specialist.

Fast forward 2 yrs. and my son was in the 4th grade and read on a 6th grade reading level. I learned how to become an active participant and advocate for my son.  By understanding that I am the specialist in what my child needs to excel and how to utilize other resources in an IEP meeting to be heard. I am an Amazon Bestselling Author of “ Not My Child:  Navigating Your Child’s Learning Difficulties With IEP’s and Educational Resources” which takes parents on a journey of empowerment from the beginning to the end of the IEP process. I also work as a pa have been able to advocate for my youngest child to be placed in a special education private school paid by the state.
